here's a scarf i've been working on. I have no idea what i'm going to do with it. It's not in colours i really like but it was the only yarn i had at the time besides what my knitting needles were on.
As soon as i finish this scarf i'm going to see if i can whip up a baby blanket for Mandy. She's due ANYDAY so i'm going to have to go fast but i have a 6 hour card ride on saturday that i can get a good start on it.
anyways, i feel quite proud of myself..

any someday i will make this..

so for the past month or so i've REALLY wanted to learn how to knit. I tried finding someone to teach me but no one else knows either! I kept walking past the yarn and needles in every store i went to and finally decided to just buy some and see if i could teach myself. It took me about three hours but i think i have it down. The first piece doesn't look the best but each row that i do it looks better and i feel like i'm getting a better feel for how to do it. So far I realy only know how to do the basic stitch but i'll see about some others once i feel like this one is down good.
